Nailing the bid interview.
A research consortium was seeking Government funding to establish a Cooperative Research Centre (CRC). A CRC is a collaboration between industry and academic researchers. The consortium had reached stage 2 of the application process.
Rachel Nowak and Associates were asked to develop the strategy for the stage 2 interview. We ran workshops with the clients to develop a SWOT analysis of the bid, and an analysis of key stakeholder wants and needs. This evidence, together with a deep understanding of the underpinning science, was used to create a narrative for the interview presentation and to select and prepare the interview team. We also managed production of communication assets.
The consortium was commended on its presentation and awarded $35 million to launch the Cooperative Research Centre for Solving Antimicrobial Resistance in Agribusiness, Food and Environments.
