Optimising collaboration across knowledge boundaries.
Australia’s only organisation dedicated to optimising collaboration between life scientists, engineers, and advanced computing and IT experts wanted to understand its current effectiveness and reset its strategy.
Rachel Nowak & Associates was asked to assess the performance of The ICT for Life Sciences Forum (now the Convergence Science Network) and recommend future strategic considerations.
Qualitative research was conducted by semi-structured interviews of key attendees, sponsors, student representatives and speakers at Forum events. The information gleaned was combined with knowledge of similar programs in the US and EU.
Rachel Nowak & Associates made 12 recommendations, all of which were actioned.
